The "Old Main Auditorium" at The Citadel was Capers Hall, which was demolished to make way for a new academic building, the Capers Hall Replacement Project. Capers Hall was originally built in the 1950s and housed classrooms and offices for the English, History, and Political Science departments, according to The Citadel website. The new facility, also named Capers Hall, will house the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and includes a performing arts auditorium.
