Kimbel Arena is a 1,039 seat multi-purpose arena located on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. It was home to the Coastal Carolina University men's and women's basketball teams and the women's volleyball team through the 2011-12 season, but those teams moved to the new HTC Center in the fall of 2012. The arena hosted the 2010 and 2011 Big South Conference men's basketball tournament finals.

Kimbel Gymnasium was dedicated in November 1972 by the legendary Frank McGuire and the University of South Carolina basketball team. The 1974-1975 season was Coastal's first competitive season as a four-year school, and the Chanticleers began the transition into NAIA membership.

The arena underwent several renovations since its opening in 1972. There have been floor replacements several times throughout the years, starting with a tartan-like surface when the building opened. Years later the floor was converted over to wood and eventually the portable floor used currently was installed during the 2001-02 season.
