The Corsair Gym at Santa Monica College (SMC) is the primary facility for the college's men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams, as well as the Hollywood Fame of the American Basketball Association. The gym has a capacity of 1,200 spectators and can accommodate three basketball or volleyball courts for practices. Corsair Field, the college's football and track and field stadium, opened in 1948 and was the starting point for the men's and women's marathon events at the 1984 Summer Olympics. The field also hosts various kinesiology classes and sports events.
