Madigan Gymnasium at Saint Mary's College in Moraga, California, was opened in 1928 and was named after the legendary football coach, Edward "Slip" Madigan. It served as the home for the college's men's and women's basketball programs and now functions as a campus recreational facility. Madigan, a former coach at Notre Dame, led Saint Mary's to football success, including a Cotton Bowl victory in 1939. He also personally raised funds to build the gymnasium that now bears his name. The gym is now used as a campus rec.
