The Oregon Agricultural College's Men's Gymnasium, later renamed Langton Hall in the 1970's, hosted basketball games before Gill Coliseum was built. This 2,500 seat facility was constructed in 1914 and is still in use today, serving as the current Langton Hall. The Women's Building, designed by John V. Bennes, also featured a gymnasium and was known for its simple design.
